About the show

Christopher Orapello is an artist who was born and raised in southern New Jersey where he currently lives in Audubon, NJ with his girlfriend, two cats (Henry Lee and Timothy) and four pet snakes (Betelgeuse, Danbalah Wedo, Aristotle, and Mrs. Robinson). He is a Pagan with a base in Wicca mixed with ceremonial practices and Thelemic philosophies, and has been on his journey for over 16 years. He is also a proud south Jersey Freemason.

In the past, he was the vice president of his college undergraduate Pagan organization while at Rowan University and later was the primary facilitator of his own group -The Marlton Witches' Coalition- which existed for five years. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, in Philadelphia where he received his Master of Fine Arts.

Currently Chris does regular illustrative work for Title Goes Here: Magazine published by Misanthrope Press and even did the cover for their Pagan story anthology Etched Offerings: Voices from the Cauldron of Story. In the near future he will have an exclusive collection of cast bronze items and prints available for purchase on Eclectic Artisans, an online store dealing in Fine Goods for the Magical & Mundane.

Aside from all this, he is also an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church and has had the honor of performing several weddings for Wiccan and Pagan couples within the state of New Jersey. He is also the founder and organizer of a paranormal investigations and research team in southern New Jersey known as Mid-Atlantic Paranormal Research which serves the local Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania area. As a Pagan, he currently practices as a solitary. Overall, he hopes to bring his unique background, interests, and insight to the show.

The Infinite and the Beyond, is an esoteric podcast for the introspective Pagan mind. In the show we explore and discuss a variety of topics which relate to life and one's unique spiritual journey. Show topics center around Paganism, occultism, parapsychology, science, society, and culture in the 21st century. Sounds like a lot huh? Yea, we know. The culmination of these interests is the greater scope of human existence, the infinite and the beyond, but we intend on placing such issues in a more tangible context. How does one fit in this world? What are the greater possibilities in life? What lies beyond the veil of reality and existence? How much inner-self knowledge is indicative of the outer world perspective? Life is more than just one topic or avenue of thought and so, what lies at the source of it all? Along with The Infinite and the Beyond, Chris also produces a meditation podcast called Baphmetis Meditation.

Grounded in the Western Esoteric Tradition, Baphmetis is a meditation series for seekers of divine wisdom. Sessions will relate to Thelema, Paganism, Occultism, Consciousness, Magick, Western Esotericism, as well as self-awareness and self-knowledge with some ambient music thrown in on occasion. It is a tool and resource for your practice and can also be found on iTunes.
